Here at PawOfABear.com you will find highly-detailed, unique, scratch-built model railroad structures in Z-scale, N-scale, HO-scale, and even an occasionally O-scale. Michael Duggan (that would be me) creates all the work featured on this site.
I have been a model builder for over 35 years. In late 2006, I started building models and selling them on ebay and at train shows.
Because several folks asked for them, in 2008 I started producing some of my structures as laser cut wood kits. For now these kits are for model railroads in scales from Z-HO. As time allows, I will add new kits to the Paw of a Bear, LLC catalog. Please check back from time to time to see what's new.
I also do custom structure building. Suppose that you want a scale model of your grandfather's general store, your childhood home, your business, or your home. Supply me with photographs, measurements, even better, plans and elevations, and I will build a model, complete with scenery, in the scale of your choice. The more information you have, the more detailed I can make your model. Contact me to discuss a budget. Costs vary based on complexity of the building. If you aren't satisfied with the model, simply send it back to me and I will return the purchase price. I can not return shipping costs.
