Back to the Z Gallery Fred's Flowers Fred Bronson was told that he needed to name his flower shop, "Fantastic Bouquets" or "Mr. Fredrick's" or "A New Leaf" but he stuck to his guns and his alliteration. Fred's Flowers. "The name is plain but there's nothing plain about our arrangements" says Fred. Sold to a Private Collector    
This diorama was built from scratch using basswood, metal, paper, and styrene. The Fred's Flowers includes the following features: - Paw of a Bear laser cut windows
- Paw of a Bear laser cut shutters with crescent moons
- a detailed roof complete with scratch built smokejacks and ventilators
- two picture windows filled with flowers
- a huge display of Z-scale flowers on the sidewalk
- laser cut garage
- electrical power meter
- weathered sidewalk
- a small garage
- asphalt roofing
- shingles on the garage
- custom signs
 
The model sits on a base Gatorfoam (tm) that measures 2 1/8" x 2 7/8". At its highest point, the top of the cornice, the model stands approximately 2 1/8"" tall. As always, I will include a detailed materials list and a brief how-to should you wish to match the scenery materials that I used to make this diorama. I hope that this hand made, signed and dated, diorama will find a place on your z-scale train layout or as a conversation piece on your shelf, mantle, or desk. Please note this is a scale model, not a toy. It is not suitable for children. Besides it is much too nice for children in any case.
