Cornwall & Welsh Produce Co. Messers Cornwall & Welsh built their warehouse the moment the tracks were laid. Since then they've been leaders in the community acting as the connection between the local farmers and the wide, wide world.
This scratch-built model includes the following features:
- 9 modified Tichy windows
- 2 laser cut Paw of a Bear doors
- laser cut Paw of a Bear shingles
- 4 scratch built loading dock doors
- flat "gravel" roof
- two scratch built vents
- hand made, weathered, metal roofing on addition
- custom made sign
- period advertising
- scratch built power meter
- stacked boxes that you can see through the doors
- a large pile of scratch built sacks on loading dock
- WWII era farm work image "painted on the wall"
The model sits on a base Gatorfoam (tm) that measures 3 8/16" x 3 9/16". At its highest point, the top of the vent, the model stands approximately 3 1/8"" tall. As always, I will include a detailed materials list and a brief how-to should you wish to match the scenery materials that I used to make this diorama. I hope that this hand made, signed and dated, diorama will find a place on your z-scale train layout or as a conversation piece on your shelf, mantle, or desk.
Please note this is a scale model, not a toy. It is not suitable for children. Besides it is much too nice for children in any case.
