City Block No.1 This Z-scale Main Street Series Diorama was one of my early attempts at city scenery and, unfortunately, the photographs were taken before I had a nice camera. The first diorama, City Block No.1, is composed of three buildings: Ross & Co. Jewelers, Clean As a Whistle Washeteria, and Sherman & Sons Department Store. I built these buildings using matte board as a base. I then added details using using Bristol board, basswood, metal, and styrene. All the windows and doors are handcrafted. The buildings all have interiors that can be seen through the windows. SOLD TO A PRIVATE COLLECTOR
Please note this is a scale model, not a toy. It is not suitable for children. Besides it is much too nice for children in any case.
