Blue Moon Cafe
A Z-Scale diorama by Paw of a Bear
Back to the Z Gallery
Blue Moon Cafe The Blue Moon Cafe has been a fixture on main Street for many years. Folks like the cheery Moon smiling from behind the clouds that Luna Copernicus, a flakey local artist, painted in return for a year's worth of breakfasts.
It doesn't matter if you're in the mood for eggs over easy with a stack of flapjacks or a nice tuna melt, the good folks at the Blue Moon will set you up right! SOLD TO A PRIVATE COLLECTOR
This kit prototype model includes the following features:
- 10 laser cut Paw of a Bear windows
- 1 laser cut Paw of a Bear six panel door
- laser cut brick walls
- laser cut sidewalk
- laser cut storefront and double doors
- flat "tarpaper" roof
- hand made, chimney
- hand made trapdoor on roof
- curtains in the windows
- hand-painted sign on the wall
- custom made signs
The model sits on a base Gatorfoam (tm) that measures 1 3/4" x 3 3/4". At its highest point, the top of the main roof, the model stands just under 2" tall. As always, I will include a detailed materials list and a brief how-to should you wish to match the scenery materials that I used to make this diorama. I hope that this
hand made, signed and dated, diorama will find a place on your
z-scale train layout or as a conversation piece on your shelf, mantle,
or desk.
Please note this is a scale model, not a toy. It is not suitable for children. Besides it is much too nice for children in any case.
SOLD TO A PRIVATE COLLECTOR If you would like me to build something like this for your scale model railroad, please do drop me an email at mthduggan@pawofabear.com. We can discuss your budget and needs.
